End of a round
Resolve all ‘end of round’ effects before moving the season token. If the season token crosses into a new season, then resolve any ‘change in season’ effects.
Resolve ‘end of round’ effects in the turn order of the most recently played round. This also applies to the resolution of 'change in season' effects.
When a player resolves multiple ‘end of round’ effects, he or she chooses the order in which they are triggered. This also applies to the resolution of multiple 'change in season' effects.
Resolve ‘end of round’ and ‘change in season’ effects one card at a time. If a player has two Beggar’s Horns and 1 energy already in the reserve, the first Beggar’s Horn will trigger and give the player a second energy. However, the second Beggar’s Horn will not trigger as there are already 2 energy in the reserve at its time of resolution.
When the season token moves into the winter season of Year 4 at the end of the round, the game immediately ends. This is still counted as a change in seasons, and ‘change in season’ effects will trigger.
