The person to the left of the dealer of the first hand is the one who plays a card first in that first hand. On the second hand that player to the left of the first dealer becomes the dealer for the second hand and the person to their left would play a card first. This pattern continues through the game. Dealing moves one player to the left each time the cards are reshuffled and re-dealt.
