US Tariffs - The status & details on US Tariffs are currently a shifting landscape. We don't anticipate shipments from this campaign being assessed any additional tariffs. However, if that changes, backers will not have to pay them, as we will pay any extra costs.
You are a ronin, a masterless warrior, wandering through the vast Japanese Empire during the era when Edo reigned as the capital. Once, you were an honorable samurai, but with the death of your former shogun, you lost everything—your title, your purpose, your honor.
Now, your path to redemption begins. By leading a virtuous life and completing challenging missions, you strive to restore your honor. Travel through Japan’s great cities, gather valuable resources—gold coins, swords, porcelain, fish, and rice—and use them to fulfill your quests.

Rules and artwork for Ronin are in the final stages and will be completed in the next two months. Wooden components and cards are already ordered and therefore won't delay the production schedule. We are going to produce the game in the Netherlands with our long term partner and all additional components are manufactured in Europe.
Ronin is played over 4 rounds, with each round consisting of 4 phases.
Starting with the first player and proceeding clockwise you will place your Ronin figures on the city spaces to gain influence in the adjacent regions. Some of your Ronin might have special abilities - be sure to make the best use of them!
In each region players can now gather resources. Whoever has the most influence in a region gets to pick first, which makes Ronin placement crucial for getting the resources you need!
Spend resources on your player board and check the locations of your Ronin to complete missions and gain victory points
This phase concludes one round and prepares the next one.
After 4 rounds there will be a final scoring. Whoever scored the most points will be the most succesful Ronin and win the game!
To minimize delays, for this project we have moved to a One-Stop shipping solution. This means that we will pack all pledges (Worldwide) at our warehouses, and send them directly to you, the backer. This way if there are any issues with packages or addresses, it will be easier to resolve.
We will monitor the comment section and messages while the campaign is active in order to answer everyone's questions. Please note that we may not be able to actively monitor the comments after the campaign closes. If you have a question about your pledge, please send us a message.
We will do our best to post all pertinent information in a timely manner either as an update or in emails to relevant backers.
By pledging for this product, you are accepting the following terms.
REFUND POLICY Because of the quick turnaround time for this project, we will only be able to provide a refund if requested within 7 days of the project ending.
DAMAGED OR INCOMPLETE PRODUCTS We understand that all backers want to receive their items in pristine condition; however, the realities of worldwide shipping can sometimes make this difficult. We guarantee that the product you receive will be complete and all internal components both functional and meeting our tolerances for acceptable products. We will do our best to ensure that your package arrives in good condition, but all decisions on box replacements will be made on a case by case basis. Due to the difficulty and expense in replacing boxes, depending on your region, we will not be able to replace some boxes with cosmetic damage only.
RETURNED PRODUCTS If you refuse to accept your package on arrival we will not issue you a refund for the cost of the pledge.
FAILURE TO RESPOND TO SURVEY While we will post updates and send out reminders, it is the the responsibility of the customer to complete the survey in a timely manner, and to make sure the address is correct at the time of fulfillment. Queen Games will not be obligated to either provide a refund or send out any product if the survey is not completed before fulfillment starts.
REPORTING DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS Backers have 7 days from the delivery date to report damaged or missing items, and 90 days from the announced end of fulfillment to contact us if they did not receive their pledge. Queen Games will not be obligated to either provide a refund or send out any product if we are not contacted by the end of this period.
REASONABLE CHANGES TO PRODUCT By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the name, final look, and materials of the project are subject to change and may differ from what is presented while the Kickstarter campaign was active. Queen Games will make all reasonable.
