Story
Fantastic Factories is a light gateway strategy game for 1 to 5 players that’s easy to learn and plays in under 1 hour! It combines engine building and dice placement in a very accessible package that always leaves you wanting to play again!

With the ever-growing manufacturing industry comes the consolidation of power and expertise in the form of corporate factions! Each faction brings a unique competitive advantage that completely shifts the way business is done. Which faction will you align with in order to establish market dominance?
Manufactions and Subterfuge are not stand-alone expansions and must be combined with the original Fantastic Factories game in order to be played.
The stakes are high and tensions are running hot! Do whatever you can to get an edge over your competition, including some subterfuge… Corporate espionage or a little sabotage might just be what you need to take the lead!
Each Tier includes the new promos! Promo Pack 1 from the first campaign is also available as an add-on or on the "Everything" tier!
Why do you want the expansions?
Manufactions takes Fantastic Factories to the next level. With 12 different factions varying complexity, these brand new powers really change the way you approach the game and add so much replay value! New blueprints and contractors alongside the vitamins resource introduce new strategies both in the form of factories you’ll want to build around and exploring all the different ways blueprint cards can be used for more than just building.

Subterfuge introduces direct player interaction to Fantastic Factories in the form of shadowy contractors you can hire to steal from and sabotage others. Players now need to diversify their strategy to ensure their plan doesn’t fall apart when a single factory breaks down. This expansion is for players who are looking to spice up their game and aren’t afraid of employing some underhanded tactics.
Joseph and Justin kickstarted Fantastic Factories in 2018 and partnered with us in late 2019 to give the game a wider release! We're thrilled that despite the absurdity of 2020, we've completely sold through the first printing and are already working on the next print run! So, this kickstarter will be first place to get your hands on the base game again!
These expansions have been in development almost since the get go! The base game design was incredibly refined, so during development a lot of quirkier cards and mechanics had to get cut. Those concepts have found their home in Manufactions and Subterfuge!
We at Deep Water Games are excited to bring you even more great games and more content for the ones you love! Working with Joseph and Justin has been a dream, and we can't wait to keep expanding the world of Fantastic Factories.
Manufactions can be played solo — just simply shuffle in the new cards and select a faction to start with. Subterfuge can also be played solo and adds some additional rules to allow you to sabotage The Machine!

You'll see the retail pledge tier with the other rewards! This is a deposit that gets you access to a special retailer only section of the pledge manager where you'll be able to customize your order from a selection of add-ons at 50% off.
There are several incentives for retailers! We'll be giving away a free playmat with each case (6 copies) of Fantastic Factories, and we'll also be including promos with every game that otherwise will be hard to get.
Retailer pledges will ship from within your local country, although due to constraints, we're only able to offer this to USA/CA/EU/UK/AUS/Asia. You can expect shipping to range on average from $20-$40.
We will be verifying after the campaign that you are in fact a board game retailer.
