We're getting closer to the next expansion, which I've been tentatively calling Leaving Earth: Stations. It focuses on building stations in space and throughout the inner solar system.
Some features for this expansion:
- joint ventures where agencies cooperate on shared projects
- hydroponics to be able to grow food in space
- habitats for long term settlement
- science labs for performing experiments
- local fuel production from CO©ü
- reusable space shuttles
- probes that can land on Venus and survive for a little bit
- Aldrin cycler trajectory between Earth and Mars
- sites to be explored on planets
- space telescopes
- mental health risk of long-term isolation
- missions that give points per year for long-term occupation
