말도많고 탈도 많은 ALG, 몇년 전 반지전쟁 펀딩으로 성채 세트와 산맥 세트도 팔았지만 산맥 세트는 아직까지 오지 않았다죠?

그 뒷얘기를 궁금해 하시는 분들이 많을 거 같아 이 후기를 작성하게 되었습니다.

우연히 웹서핑을 하던 도중 발견한 사진.

위 사이트에서 판매하는 사진과 ALG에서 펀딩한 성채세트 모양이 100% 일치하는 것을 발견했습니다.

그래서 이 제작자가 바로 ALG와 계약한 회사라는 것을 눈치채고 채팅으로 대화를 해봤습니다.

Message:hello, thank you for your message, I am very sorry to hear about your inconvenience. Can you please share with me more? I am trying to form a picture of the situation myself.
Last year we shipped 250 sets of Strongholds to ALG. We didn"t ship mountains and Argonath, because of two things: covid crisis and ALG stopped communication for some 7 months we didn"t hear from them. We continued production some more time, but after that we stopped and continued selling product online as usual. I thought that they won"t be calling anymore. Recently I got an email from them asking us for the mountains and Argonath, where I explained this same thing that I wrote to you. I am NOT in the army, and I NEVER was in any army, we have a team of 6 artists that are working full time on models. As for ALG, it takes a lot of time for them to respond to me, sometimes a month before I get any email answer back.
Can you please share more information with me? What did you buy? Strongholds, Mountains, or both? What did you pay for? And how much did you pay for Mountains and Argonath, and how much for Strongholds?
Again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience, and I would appreciate if you can help me get the better picture of the situation.

Message:And one more thing: with the delay of the strongholds, it was because of us. But the reason isn"t because of why I went to the army. The reason for the delay in production is that we treat every model in every set with maximum care and attention to detail. We want you to get absolutely perfect set, done to the best of our abilities. We can make it only once, but you will play with it in years to come, and we want to make sure that every model be perfect. This takes time. A lot of time. Models have many details, and they can"t be rushed. I made a mistake in judgement on how long will this take, since I never had an order of 250 sets before, and it was difficult to guess. We had some production problems as well, and we had to work around them, but all Strongholds were shipped by the end of last year. I am not sure why you didn"t receive at least those.

대충 요약하면 이 제작자도 alg랑 거의 연락이 안돼서 답답해 하고있고 그 뒷얘기가 어떻게 되는지 저한테 질문한 상황입니다. 1~2달 이상 연락이 안되는건 기본이고 최근에는 7달간이나 연락이 안된데다가 심지어 소통하기 위해 alg 사이트 고객센터를 이용해 연락한 적도 있다고 하네요.(이건 위 글에는 안 써있지만 후에 얘기함)

첨언하자면 군대에 끌려가서 도색이 늦었다는 얘기도 있었지만 그건 루머인걸로 판명이 났고 일단 성채세트가 그렇게 연기된 것에는 alg보다 자기네 책임이 크고 자기들도 그렇게 대량생산은 처음이라 시간 가늠이 안됐고 최대한 고퀄로 만들기 위해 늦었다.

이런 얘기고, 자기네들은 연락이 계속 안되다보니 산맥세트는 alg에서 더 이상 필요하지 않은걸로 판단하고 일단 생산은 멈춘 상태고 다시 대량생산이 아닌 일반판매를 재개한 상황이라고 합니다. 후에 산맥세트를 다시 생산할지 어떻게 할지는 일단 alg랑 얘기가 돼야 할 것 같네요.

그래서 쭉 대화해보니 자기네들 생각은 alg가 소통이 안되고 답답한건 사실이나 "But apart from the fact, they honored the deal with us completely, and were fair in the end"라는 말로 미루어 볼때 거래는 제대로 하긴 한 모양입니다.

일단 산맥세트가 제대로 오게 하기위해서는 alg가 제대로 저 회사랑 연락해서 오해를 풀고 적극적으로 일 진행을 위해 노력해야 할 것으로 보이네요.

너무 멋지고 이 가격에 이런 퀄리티를 보니 이뻐서 산맥세트더 얼른 왔으면 좋겠는데 alg가 어떻게 대응할지 궁금하네요.ㅠ

Hello, I apologize for the delays, it's been hectic week. I just read the review and the comments section. I understand that people are frustrated, and I will do my best to resolve the issue with ALG and continue the production until delivery. I just hope that people will remain patient, since creating these sets does take a lot of time, since they are hand made, and we take care of each and every detail. And no, we didn't take any deposit for the mountains, just to clarify this as well.
