Most cards have three copies (the most permitted in a deck), but some have only one or two copies included. Fantasy Flight says this is to allow the core set to provide many match-ups out of the box.

Expansions
Fantasy Flight Games releases Expansions in the form of Datapacks and Deluxe Expansions. Datapacks come in Cycles that consist of 6 Datapacks, each of them released within approx. one month. After a full Cycle, one Deluxe Expansion is being released that mainly includes Cards from two factions.
